(September 14, 2006 - Dallas) Total Transportation Services LLC (TTS) announced the addition of TLM, Inc. located in Woodstock, Georgia as the latest transportation agency to join its growing national network of transportation and logistics service providers.
The agency is led by industry veterans, president Rick Bondie and vice president Mark Green. Their company has been in operation for over 21 years as a provider of intermodal transportation services nationwide.
The operation is primarily full-load intermodal focused with major lanes to Los Angeles, Chicago and the northeast from Atlanta and includes a fleet of 35 dedicated inbound trucks. The agency also operates a local truck drayage service in and around the Atlanta area.
"We joined Total Transportation Services because of its solid network of agencies which allows us to fully leverage resources and opportunities with others like us," said Bondie. "TTS also provides tools we just didn’t have on our own like the advanced technology and information systems which enables us to really service our customers in new ways."
Bondie, a native of Detroit, began his transportation career as a tracing clerk with a local transportation company which led to other positions including operations management and ultimately operating a national transportation agency network. In the mid-eighties he opened his own transportation agency, which he’s been running ever since.
