Three New Transportation Agencies Added to Total Transportation Services National Network

(June 30, 2006 - Dallas) Total Transportation Services LLC (TTS) announced the addition of three new transportation agencies to its expanding national network of transportation and logistics service providers. The Dallas-based transportation company began operations in January and continues it meteoric growth with the continued addition of successful transportation operations under the TTS umbrella.

The new agencies are located in San Diego, Addison, Texas and Cumming, Georgia. They each have begun operations with TTS in June with a successful transition to the TTS system delivering a range of transportation and logistics services.

Bobbie Ray is the founder and president of the Cumming, Georgia-based agency. Ray started the intermodal and specialty trucking company over 14 years ago with her husband. The operation focuses on retail industries including handling both container and intermodal freight from shipper to distribution centers. Ray says their success is the result of “outside the box thinking” to create transportation solutions that meet their customers’ goals.

“We joined Total Transportation Services because we were looking for a true partner that would support us in the same way that we support the success of our customers,” said Ray. “A big part of our decision was the incredible information technology system, process and support that TTS has in place.”

The Addison, Texas-based agency is Positive Transportation and is operated by Ty Hatton and Tom Whaley. This two-year old operation already is a strong industry presence with an extensive truckload business, an 11,000 strong carrier base and a significant customer base. Their company specializes in truck load, LTL and refrigerated freight for various industry sectors including food, plastics, rail car manufacturing and event rental.

“We were attracted to Total Transportation Services because of the technology platform they employ including the web-based shipment management, billing processing and the total efficiency of the system,” said Hatton. “We also liked the flexibility and agility of the operational structure of TTS which allows us to service our customers incredibly well.”

The third new addition to the Total Transportation Services network is the San Diego-based agency headed by president and founder Toby Hawley. The 3 year old agency is a full-truck transportation brokerage for a variety of industries throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. Their services include freight management, border transfers, port and warehouse shipment. They handle a variety of freight including refrigerated, food and manufactured products.

Toby Hawley said it was Total Transportation Services’ overwhelming technology that convinced him to join TTS. “TTS offers a state of the art technology system that provides us significant efficiencies and flexibility that we just didn’t have,” said Hawley. “TTS also has a unique operational structure that allows us to continue to be a very customer-responsive organization.”

“The addition of these three superb transportation agencies underscores our desire to develop a strong transportation services network of the very best and brightest,” said Andy Cole, president and chief executive officer of Total Transportation Services. “We’re glad to have them on board and look forward to working together to provide best-in-class technology and customer service.”
